What is Eggplant DEX?

Eggplant exchange, inspired by Pancake Swap, is a brand new DEX on the Binance Smart chain. The DEX will feature both swaps and high APR liquidity pools. Stage 3 of the DEX will aim to use Band Protocol to bring synthetic assets onto the exchange and provide new opportunities to trade traditional assets outside of centralized exchanges.

What is the Eggplant token and what are the tokenomics?

Eggplant ($EGGPLANT) is the native token of our platform. Eggplant features a unique deflationary design that exponentially decreases the total supply with every transaction made. Eggplant is a decentralized project, meaning it is completely community led and created by volunteers.

There are no founder/developer wallets, however a small portion of tokens (7.5%) are reserved for marketing and development purposes. Over 50% of tokens are burned forever, and the remaining circulating supply is available on the open market. We have added a 1% max transaction amount to avoid large transactions and price manipulation.

There is a 4.5% transaction fee which is distributed as follows:

— 2% is redistributed to all holders
— 2% is added to PancakeSwap’s Liquidity Pool
— 0.5% is sent to the burn address, meaning these are out of circulation forever, thus increasing the initial 50% burned amount.

When can we start earning Liquidity Pool and Staking rewards?

What do we have to do to start earning rewards?

All you have to do is add liquidity to the EGGPLANT-ESEED, EGGPLANT-BNB and/or EGGPLANT-BUSD Liquidity Pools or Stake EGGPLANT. You will automatically start earning $ESEED as rewards!

Do the staked tokens which I deposited in the Liquiditiy Pools, also increase in value when the prices increase?

Yes, as the value of Eggplant, ESeed and/or BNB goes up, your pooled value goes up too.

How can I add to the Liquidity Pool?

1. Go to Eggplant DEX: https://dex.eggplantcrypto.com/#/pool
2. Connect wallet and click “New Position”
3. Click “Select a currency” then select BNB together with Eggplant.
4. Select a BNB value to add and then the equivalent value in Eggplant, or the other way around.

Who is eligible for the Airdrop, how does it work and how does it benefit me?

Everyone who has contributed to the Liquidity Pool is eligible for the Airdop. The airdropped ESeed can be used for the EGGPLANT-ESEED pool, giving you a head start as you have received them for free right at the launch.

What kind of APR can be expected on launch day?

APR targets are between 200 to 3000% depending on the farm. Note that we plan on providing the highest yields possible and that these are only estimates and not guaranteed.

What is $ESEED and why should I buy it?

$ESEED will facilitate high APR’s within our farming and staking platform and be utilized as our very own Eggplant membership reward system. The more $ESEED you hold, the greater the benefits. This includes, but won’t be limited to, farming and staking multipliers, multipliers to improve your chances with games and/or prediction markets, and discounts on merchandise or NFT collectibles.

Where can I buy $ESEED?

You will be able to buy $ESEED on our DEX and/or PancakeSwap starting June 19

Do you plan to have different APR’s based on how long you are willing to lock your Liquidity Pool for?

Not at this time, but our ESeed reward token will modify your APR higher from base APR based on how much ESeed you hold.

Is Eggplant going to be making its own blockchain protocol or still be on Binance Smart Chain?

Still on BSC! No plans for our own blockchain protocol just yet but this is definitely something to look into for the future!

Will other projects be able to list on Eggplant DEX?
